“Let me begin with the fact I found out about Rejuvalase through a Groupon for laser treatments. I live in DC and wasn't sure how far Stafford, VA was but I was desperate to find a spa. My experience in DC spas has been that the quality of laser treatments, massages and facials is low but the price is the highest I have paid anywhere in the world. (I have had laser removal done at spas all over the US, Latin America & Asia).

Rejuvalase has been a savior for me. I have had 3 laser treatments, one facial and microdermabrasion and the results + overall experience has been fantastic! The prices were the most reasonable in the entire DC/VA/MD region and they often have excellent specials.

The only drawback, which is not Rejuvalase's fault therefore not reflective of the 5 stars, is the location. Summer traffic has made the venture out to Stafford, VA from DC almost 1.5 hours long. Despite this, the total cost of renting a Zipcar, driving 1.5 hours out and having treatments has not hindered the benefit of having a woman like Marianne treat you like a queen during a facial.

I just rock NPR and laugh at the fact that the entire price tag of this venture is still cheaper than one laser session at certain awful, overpriced DC laser removal spas. They shall remain nameless.

Rejuvalase is great. When you walk in, there's a great atmosphere. Someone always offers you a glass of water while you wait for your appointment, but I've never had to wait very long anyway.

I've gotten four laser treatments there so far, and it only hurts a teeeeny bit. It's more like a hot sensation than anything else. I have a very low pain tolerance, but it's not a big deal at all. I've also gotten a facial, which left my skin feeling softer, and it was really relaxing to boot :D The prices are reasonable and they run great specials as well. As others have mentioned, the only real drawback is the location but it's worth the drive down to Stafford.

Rarely have I had such a great experience somewhere that I want to go home immediately and write a Yelp! review. Rejuvalase is one of those places!
I came here on a Groupon to get the laser hair removal treatment on my lower legs. I got a little lost, and ended up being about 20 minutes late, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and even stayed open a little later for me because of it. Anne did my treatment, and was not only incredibly thorough and honest in explaining the procedure and the expectations that I would have before we began, but she was also extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. If you go, request Anne! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Now, the big question: did it hurt? For me, not one bit. It felt like a warm massage, and after only a half an hour or so, I was through. I can't describe to you the great deal you'll get if you come here, even if you don't have a coupon! The prices are more than reasonable for the personalized and friendly service and for the outcome. For me, it's worth the very little that I paid and the drive from Alexandria, even in rush-hour traffic, and I can't wait to see my results!

I went to Rejuvalase with a groupon at first. It's a bit of a drive, but well worth it based on prices and the fact that the staff don't have bad attitudes like some other medspas.

I had such good results from my first two treatments that I decided to get a couple more laser treatments and got an unbeatable price! I even got a great deal on a relaxing facial with Marianne and had a couple massages from Marian. I would recommend this spa to anyone looking for medspa services or facials that can easily get to Stafford (it's a breeze from Alexandria in the afternoon from 2-3ish to drive down and easy to drive back against traffic) and wants a quality service at a great price!

Got an amazing deal for laser hair removal through a groupon and just had my first session yesterday. The experience was nothing short of awesome (well, as awesome as laser hair removal can be, right?). The staff was super friendly, offering water and tea, etc. They answered all my stupid questions and were nothing but professional. I have an extremely low pain tolerance, so there were certainly a few times when I had to ask them to stop using the laser for a few seconds. But they were completely ok with that and continually reassured me, etc. Overall, the whole thing only took about 30 minutes including the prep time and me stopping them a few times. Very fast, very easy. They even took the time out to look at a spider vein spot on my leg and give me a quick consult on that.

My friend who also got the groupon and went didn't feel any pain at all, but she's on the other end of the spectrum with an insanely high pain tolerance. I'm guessing for the average person it's somewhere in between, not painful, but maybe uncomfortable?

Regardless, I was very happy with the experience and am very happy I decided to get the deal. I will definitely be using them for other services in the future!

I, too, visited Rejuvalase Medspa initially because of a Groupon. I never would have gone otherwise. I live in Alexandria, and the drive is just too far in terrible traffic. After going to the spa though, I decided the drive was well worth it! This is coming from someone who absolutely hates highway driving. I have gone in three times for laser hair removal treatments so far, and plan on getting my face treated there as well for a photofacial. The type of laser they use is great. The laser treatments don't hurt at all in some areas but can be more uncomfortable in others. Nothing too terrible though. The staff is extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The receptionist is wonderful as well, and was very patient with me when I needed to rebook several times. I have been to many spas in Northern Virginia and DC, and this place beats them all in terms of how comfortable they made me feel. In addition, they also run excellent specials, which also makes it more affordable.

Wow! My experience at Rejuvalase was amazing! My first treatment literally lasted 10 minutes, if that and it was NOT painful at all! I was so worried about how painful it would be but Maggie assured me that it would not be and that there may be a little discomfort because of the heat. I can't to start seeing the results and possibly look into other treatments. Definitely go to Rejuvalase if you're researching if you should get laser hair removal.
